Plastic Injection Machine Operator- Shift C- Warren

About the Role

We are seeking a Press Operator on C shift to support our manufacturing operations in Warren, MI. This role is critical to ensuring that high-quality parts are produced according to customer specifications and internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment safely and efficiently
• Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job
• Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles
• Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues
• Stop production if the 3-5-10 rule or set process doesn't result in a quality product

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Work Environment & Expectations

• Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, or dirty
• Substantial physical effort including extensive reaching, lifting, stretching, bending, and twisting

Schedule

C shift:

• Week 1: Monday–Wednesday: 6:00 PM–12:15 AM / Thursday & Friday: 6:00 PM–6:15 AM / Saturday & Sunday: OFF
• Week 2: Monday–Wednesday: 6:00 PM–12:15 AM / Thursday & Friday: OFF / Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 PM–6:15 AM

Pay

New starting rate: $17–19/hour
