In this role, you will contribute as part of a highly functioning team, ensuring the production of consumer foods that meet all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and clean assigned production equipment.
- Follow and improve documented operational, maintenance, and sanitation standards in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
- Identify and correct equipment defects, and perform cleaning, inspection, and lubrication (CIL) activities.
- Troubleshoot basic machinery and process issues, and perform basic repair and maintenance tasks.
- Perform sanitation activities and equipment changeovers regularly.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Create or update documentation, including SOPs, job aids, and CIL improvements.
- Use continuous improvement tools to eliminate losses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Use basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders).
- Analyze information using math and statistics principles.
- Assist in problem-solving using analytical troubleshooting, critical thinking, and root cause analysis.
- Work collaboratively with team members and support personnel to maintain high standards for safety, quality, and reliability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Two-year degree or technical degree (preferred).
- Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Ability to work afternoon (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) or overnight (11:00 pm – 7:30 am) shifts, including overtime as needed.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety policies, SOPs, GMPs, and general instructions.
- Strong communication skills, including giving and receiving feedback.
- Ability to set and meet goals, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office; ability to learn company-specific systems.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, kneel, squat, and climb.
- Perform repetitive actions, reach, and feel.

Schedule
- 2nd shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
- 3rd shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Sunday – Thursday.
