Plant System Owner-Plant System Owner Prin

About the role

Coordinate the various functions and work activities of employees assigned to support the respective system. This role has authority to make changes in the system as required and manage the system end-to-end so as to ensure optimal overall safe, reliable performance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyze and correct problems with assigned plant system
• Implement and assist with process improvement projects and/or related programs
• Coordinate activities of employees in maintenance, energy production, lab, coal handling, or outside contractors as required
• Consult with or actively seek advice from Region Plant Engineering

Qualifications

Education: Engineering Bachelor's degree from ABET accredited school with equivalent experience; or other Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience; or Associate's degree with equivalent experience; or high school diploma or GED with equivalent experience.

Work Experience: With an ABET accredited Engineering Bachelor's degree, three (3) years of relevant plant experience; or with any other Bachelor's degree, five (5) years of relevant plant experience; or with an Associate's degree, seven (7) years of relevant plant experience; or with a high school diploma or GED, nine (9) years of relevant plant experience.

• Ability to write reports in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to communicate clearly to craft and management personnel
• Organizational skills necessary to maintain files and documentation related to position

Pay

Base salary range: $74,551 – $128,688

Schedule

Physical demand level is Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 12 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 5-6 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, or sitting most of the time with pushing/pulling of arm or leg controls, or working at a production rate pace entailing constant pushing/pulling of materials.
