About the role

Furlani Foods is seeking a Plant Project Engineer to lead local capital projects from concept through startup. The Plant Project Engineer will also support annual capital planning and help identify opportunities to improve manufacturing operations across all facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
- Coordinate equipment suppliers, contractors, plant teams, and engineering resources.
- Provide engineering support to Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and utility systems.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Work with plant teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Travel required: Specifically, but not limited to within North America and Europe.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, food production, engineering, or capital project management.
- Experience managing equipment installations and capital projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software.
