Plant Opertor (2nd Shift)

About the role

We are hiring a Plant Operator in Charlotte, NC for a 2nd shift position. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment, filling cylinders, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Care for and steward equipment within the production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts.
• Engage in routine inspections and maintenance to keep equipment in excellent condition.
• Safely support the flow and transport of cylinders, including filling and quality checks.
• Contribute to accurate and helpful records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities.
• Maintain a commitment to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
• Industrial gas experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A shared commitment to safety and following protocols.
• Comfort with operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work shifts and occasional extra hours.

Qualifications

Pay

The pay range for this role is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

This role is available on a Monday - Friday schedule from 11am - 7:30pm.
