What You'll Do
- Follow safe work practices and assist certified operators with daily plant operations.
- Collect water samples and help with basic testing and recordkeeping.
- Monitor equipment and systems using SCADA and report any alarms or issues.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, and treatment equipment.
- Help with general facility tasks like cleaning and basic field support work.
What are the requirements to be considered?
- Have a High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
- Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- Possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
- Pass background investigation, physical capability examination, and drug and alcohol screenings.
What you need to get a edge on the competition?
- One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building, mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks.
