Schedule

7 on 7 off (rotating nights and days), available for overtime as needed due to business necessity.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the safe and compliant operations of the gas processing plant and related facilities on a rotating shift.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules and programs.
  • Monitor and control processing plant equipment and systems from the central control room and within the plant using Wonderware HMI and eLynx systems.
  • Complete daily data entry on computer and mobile devices to record process conditions and production quantities.
  • Maintain constant communication with fellow employees and management using email, telephone, and two-way radios.
  • Perform regularly scheduled inspections to detect malfunctions and ensure the proper, safe, and compliant operation of the plant and pipeline facilities.
  • Maintain and adhere to required company training, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ related work experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to plan work effectively.
  • Excellent work ethic and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive safely in various weather conditions to different locations.

Working Conditions

  • Daily driving to various locations in different weather conditions.
  • Outdoor work in adverse and/or extreme weather conditions.
  • Exposure to temperature extremes due to weather and operating equipment.
  • Frequent loud noises in the work environment.
  • Prolonged wearing of PPE in areas with hazardous materials.
  • Work in close quarters requiring kneeling, sitting, squatting, standing, or lying down while handling tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Capability to work effectively in all noted working conditions.
  • Use of physical force to lift, push, pull, and hold equipment and tools.
  • Climbing and working at various heights; may work in standing, sitting, lying down, crouched, or kneeling positions.
  • Routine reaction to visual, aural, and other signals, including alarms and instructions; visual inspection of work required.
  • Regular bending, stooping, moving from ground level to higher levels, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
