Plant Operations Technician III
About the role
Location: LeeSar Wholesale Distribution, 2727 Winkler Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901. Department: Plant Operations - Leesar. Manages the preventative maintenance and repair of physical plant systems and utilities, assuring optimal operation conditions by coordinating shutdowns, initiating repairs, and recommending improvements. Responds to requests for general maintenance and preventive maintenance trouble calls. Plans, works and performs diversified and involved operations to install, repair, replace and test systems and utilities according to code requirements and manufacturers' recommendations. Demonstrates proficiency and competency as Energy Plant Operator, HVAC Technician, Plumber, Electrician or Building Maintenance Technician.
Requirements
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years applicable experience required.
- Certification: EPA 608 Type I Certification required; CHFT designation preferred.
- License: Must have a Valid Florida Driver's License or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Other: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
- Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
Pay
$22.78 - $29.62 per hour (minimum to midpoint).
Schedule
Shift 1: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
