Plant Manager - Wastewater Operations (Acton, MA)
for section headings. No job title heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Keep substantive info. We need sections only when real content. Likely sections: About the role (intro paragraph), Responsibilities (list), Requirements (list), Schedule (maybe paragraph), Pay (maybe paragraph), Benefits (maybe paragraph). Also maybe Qualifications? But we can combine Requirements and Qualifications. The posting has "What You Will Be Responsible For" (responsibilities). "What You Will Need to Succeed?" (requirements). Also schedule, pay, benefits. We must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". Pay is given: "$38 - $48 an hour Depending on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for straight hourly overtime pay for hours over 40 per week." That's specific, so include Pay section. Benefits: "Woodard & Curran offers a comprehensive benefits package. For more information about our benefits & workplace policies visit Benefit & Policy Information - Woodard & Curran ." That's vague but still states they offer comprehensive benefits package. It's not filler like "not specified". It says they offer a comprehensive benefits package. So we can include Benefits section with that sentence. Schedule: given specifics: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, standby duty, on-call coverage, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime. So include Schedule section. Now About the role: The initial paragraph describing company and role: "Woodard & Curran is an employee-owned engineering... As the Plant Manager, you will participate..." We can put that as About the role. Responsibilities: list from "What You Will Be Responsible For". We'll convert each bullet into
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Could embed sublist? Probably okay to keep as one item with colon and sub-items separated by commas. Simpler: each bullet as separate
- . For the proficiency line, we can make one item: "Proficiency with computers and operational technology, including: SCADA, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Maintenance management programs, Other site-specific systems". That's fine.
Schedule: "The regular schedule for this position is: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM The Plant Manager must also be available for standby duty and on-call coverage. This may include working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The position is responsible for responding to emergency events and alarm call-outs as scheduled and required. An irregular work schedule and overtime hours may also be required."
We'll put as paragraph(s) under Schedule heading.
Pay: "$38 - $48 an hour Depending on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for straight hourly overtime pay for hours over 40 per week."
We'll put as paragraph.
Benefits: "Woodard & Curran offers a comprehensive benefits package. For more information about our benefits & workplace policies visit Benefit & Policy Information - Woodard & Curran ."
We'll put as paragraph.
We must not include any boilerplate like EEO, E-Verify, etc. So we cut after benefits.
