Plant Manager (Nights)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

Hours: 5pm – 3am

Anaerobic digestion supports waste diversion, renewable energy production, and environmental protection. Your leadership ensures operational continuity during night hours when independent judgment is critical.

Responsibilities

• Operate an Anaerobic Digestion facility using electronic and computer control systems (SCADA); interpret gauges, meters, charts, and graphs; operate pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment.
• Report the need for major or specialized repairs to equipment, machinery, and electrical and electronic systems.
• Review and reconcile daily plant operational data sheets to ensure accuracy of entered data.
• Assist in the technical training of plant operators and technical staff; assist in planning, assigning, and reviewing the work of plant operators.
• Inspect anaerobic digestion facility equipment to ensure its proper operation in order to minimize interruptions to plant operations and to alleviate costly repairs.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records, logs, and reports.
• Ensure proper operations of online monitoring equipment for anaerobic digesters and gas systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Industrial plant or process operations experience.
• Strong technical and decision-making skills.
• Experience working with SCADA systems.
