Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager will lead operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics to ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Possess strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Drive structured problem-solving efforts and sustainable corrective actions to resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations while maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
• Build organizational capability through training, coaching, and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Previous leadership experience overseeing large manufacturing operations.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience driving operational performance improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance systems, and quality management systems.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
