Plant Manager - Jackson, MS

Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the operations at our Jackson, Mississippi site. Relocation assistance is provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage both operational leadership team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Drive Key Performance Indicators through analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Lead cost improvement analysis using Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+).
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture and foster a Quality culture of early detection and escalations.
• Partner with Human Resources to develop talent management, learning, communication, and development strategies.

Qualifications

• Basic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, minimum 5 years of manager of people experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Aerospace industry experience, engineering or Master’s degree, previous plant management experience, previous union site experience, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets, understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes, knowledge of financial concepts and techniques, ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams, working knowledge of Program Management tools, knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP), understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts.

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $176,249.97 - $258,499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
