Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering or Material Science or related field preferred.
- 7 - 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing (Leader Standard work, Standardized Work Instructions, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Takt etc.).
- Process Engineering experience.
- Capital Projects experience.
- Knowledge Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and production.
