Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute operational plans that meet or exceed production targets, safety goals, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations.
- Directly supervise department leaders and provide mentorship, training, and performance management.
- Manage plant budget, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
- Analyze and optimize cost drivers - labor, scrap, material usage, maintenance, and energy.
- Lead strategic initiatives focusing on lean manufacturing, automation, throughput, and waste reduction.
- Drive lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, TPM, Value Stream Mapping) to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Utilize data-driven decision making through KPIs and manufacturing analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing
- Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of automotive OEM and Tier system customer requirements
- Demonstrated success leading large teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
