Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects and proprietary information.
- Lead the launch and scale-up of a new manufacturing facility, including building teams, establishing processes, and driving operational readiness from pre-production to full-scale operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all phases of the manufacturing process to enhance operational efficiency, production flow, and overall plant performance.
- Analyze production data, capacity trends, and key performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and develop actionable plans that improve throughput, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
- Establish and lead cross-functional teams to address operational challenges, leveraging agile methodologies to drive solutions and implement process improvements.
- Develop and execute workforce planning strategies, including succession planning and leadership development, to build a strong pipeline of future operational leaders aligned with company growth objectives.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement capital improvements, including automation and equipment upgrades, to increase plant capacity, improve quality, and maintain industry leadership in prefabricated building systems.
- Foster strong collaboration across departments, including engineering, project management, and field operations, to ensure alignment on production priorities, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning by encouraging creative problem-solving while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and production commitments.
Experience and Education
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent), preferably with a specialization in business or engineering; MBA or other relevant Master’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing industry with demonstrable escalating scope of responsibility
- Minimum of 5+ years of direct people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Adequate working knowledge of Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project
