Responsibilities
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring safe behaviors, compliance, and proactive risk identification (including SIF prevention focus)
- Model leadership behaviors and build a high-performance, accountable culture that drives engagement and continuous improvement
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning aligned with Altium’s Guiding Principles
- Translate Envision’s growth strategy into clear plant-level priorities and lead execution of annual operating plans
- Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, service, cost, and reliability using lean principles and strong daily management systems
- Strengthen the plant’s quality system and culture to enhance process resiliency and customer confidence
- Lead production planning and execution to consistently meet customer commitments
- Optimize inventory management (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) to support service, working capital, and operational efficiency
- Improve plant cost performance and efficiency through disciplined continuous improvement and proactive identification/resolution of operational inefficiencies
- Lead development and execution of capital plans aligned with growth, capability expansion, and long-term performance
- Strengthen customer focus through active partnership with commercial teams and direct engagement with customers as appropriate
- Support and advance customer-driven innovation and division-level solutions initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality (GMP), environmental, and HR policies and standards
- Drive economic sustainability improvement initiatives, e.g., waste reduction, landfill diversion, utilities usage efficiency improvements
- Partner cross-functionally (commercial, sourcing, technology, customer service) to drive integrated business outcomes
- Collaborate with the Chino, CA plant to standardize best practices, share learnings, and maximize Envision’s overall performance
- Support enterprise systems and digital enablement initiatives (e.g., ERP upgrades) to improve operational effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, industrial management, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in lean environments
- Prior Plant Manager / Operations leadership experience in a complex manufacturing setting
- Experience in recycling, extrusion, or similarly process-intensive operations
- Demonstrated success developing talent and leading change
- Strong financial and operational management experience (including capital planning)
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Preferred
- Experience leading growth or expansion capital projects
- Experience with ERP implementations or major systems upgrades
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master’s)
