About the role
Technical Glass Products is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at their Snoqualmie, WA facility. The role reports to the General Manager of the Doors and Windows Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Create a culture of employee engagement, continuous improvement, and large-scale operational transformation to achieve objectives in safety, quality, delivery, lead-time and cost.
- Support the implementation of the Allegion Enterprise Excellence lean model to deliver growth and business health improvement.
- Create a dynamic business activity that can quickly respond to change in customer demand.
- Continuously drive waste out of the business.
- Lead and continuously develop the skills and leadership ability of a strong multi-functional team.
- Be proactive and responsive to all facets of customer satisfaction including delivery, lead time and quality.
- Develop and execute annual plans and budgets for capital, direct and indirect labor, and overhead expenses that will assure productivity improvements, effective control, and maintenance of existing equipment and facilities.

- Maintain industry safety levels based on OSHA standards.
Requirements
- Purposeful lean implementation experience that delivered both cultural and operational excellence.
- Progressive experience as a site leader in a manufacturing organization, with broad functional oversight including leadership of safety, manufacturing/production, quality, engineering, materials and planning.
- Demonstrated performance of providing value to drive growth and improved business health.
- Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in manufacturing operations leadership and 5 years of at least 100 team members.
- Experience working in a union environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and high-performance team building skills, with ability to develop collaborative relationships, influencing up, down and across organizational lines.
- A strong level of emotional intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related business discipline.
- Geographically mobile for potential future opportunities.
- Experience working in a Fortune 500 company preferred.
- Experience as a plant manager preferred.
- Additional experience outside of manufacturing preferred.

Pay
The expected Base Salary Range: $200,000-$270,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
