Plant Manager ( Assistant Level ) - Natchitoches, LA

Responsibilities

• Plan schedules and dispatch drivers, monitor routes, and proactively plan to avoid delays or interruptions
• Help keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
• Answer calls, monitor emails, troubleshoot shipment issues, compile drivers' paperwork, and ensure our customers are serviced in a timely manner
• Cook with customers and drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries
• Receive and catalog merchandise for delivery or return
• Collect products from the warehouse and safely load onto trucks and vice versa
• Guarantee both fuel and non-fuel deliveries are being dispatched as efficiently as possible
• Develop and inspire the safest culture possible throughout the facility
• Work with safety department to make sure all employee trainings are completed timely
• Guarantee product integrity is a continued focus

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar field
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and able to learn Lott Oil Company ERP system
• Maintain confidential and meticulous records
• Strong detail orientation and high accuracy level
• A strong work ethic and high level of integrity
• Reliable and extremely trustworthy
• One to two years of dispatch experience preferred
• Knowledge of operating a forklift
• Work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 75 pounds
• Great verbal and written communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
