Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing and production equipment during active operations
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Respond quickly to emergency and unplanned equipment failures to reduce production downtime
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work orders
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, welders, torches, and material-handling equipment safely and effectively
- Weld, fabricate, and install machine components as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with OSHA and company standards
- Source parts and supplies, obtain vendor quotes, and install replacement components
- Cookordination and communication with vendors and external contractors for equipment maintenance and installation projects

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in plant or industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical repair, welding, electric motors, conveyors, steel fabrication, and overhead cranes
- Demonstrated ability to work as a self-motivated, proactive, and multi-tasking team player
- Solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices and production equipment operations
- Electrical license preferred, but not required
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
- Near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
- In a noisy environment
