Responsibilities
- Maintain all production machinery and facility equipment by quickly troubleshooting and completing repairs in a safe, good and workmanlike manner.
- Aid in the development and maintenance of equipment preventative maintenance program to optimize operational life of each machine.
- Observe the operation of equipment and make recommendations for operator training and instructions as required.
- Recommend additional critical spare parts to ensure that repairs can be completed with limited equipment downtime.
- Aid in the successful completion of projects from initial brainstorming to final project implementation.
- Complete all assigned Preventative Maintenance services on time.
- Assist and respond to restroom problems
- Service and repair HVAC equipment EPA 608 certification is a plus
- Assist with eye wash system checks and service
- Support all continual improvement activities. Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills and Experience
- Electrical - Understanding of electrical schematics and documentation, 480V 3 phase troubleshooting and wiring, Ability to install or modify conduit, Low voltage controls, VFDs
- Mechanical - Welding to include: MIG, TIG, Arc and Brazing, Pumps, valves, gearboxes, Strong mechanical aptitude, Pneumatic and hydraulic systems operation, Mill and lathe use a plus
- Controls - PLC knowledge includes troubleshooting and program understanding. IDEC PLC experience and knowledge a plus
- Manufacturing - Familiar with weigh scales, pneumatic bulk conveying and case erectors, Utilities, boilers, and air compressors
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, and follow OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge and use of Lock out Tag out procedures
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
