Knapp Medical Center is an award-winning, not-for-profit hospital in Weslaco, Texas, with 227 beds specializing in emergency care, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, wound care, surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, critical care, and interventional radiology. As the only acute care hospital in the Mid-Valley area, Knapp serves as Weslaco's only Level III Trauma Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and Level II Newborn Nursery. With over 60 years of service, Knapp employs more than 450 people and has over 300 physicians on its medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and provide a safe working environment.
• Maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Drive as needed for company business.

Requirements

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention training preferred (facility-specific requirement).
