Plant Maintenance Mechanic II

Wieland Group · Granite City, IL · 1 mo ago
Management$28–$32/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes Overview, Wieland's Cultural Values, then description of role, responsibilities, qualifications, physical demands, benefits. We need headings:

for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must not repeat job title as heading. We need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. So we need to decide which sections to include. We have content: Overview (maybe About the role). Responsibilities (list). Qualifications (list). Skills maybe part of qualifications. Benefits (list). Pay (hourly range). Schedule (work schedule). Also maybe "Physical Demands" but not in allowed headings; we could incorporate into Qualifications or Requirements? The allowed headings list does not include Physical Demands, but we could put under Requirements? However we must not invent sections not in allowed list? The instruction: "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., implying those are examples; we could also use other headings? Probably we should stick to those. We can include sections: About the role (overview), Responsibilities, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Possibly Skills could be merged into Qualifications. Requirements maybe same as Qualifications. We'll choose About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. Remove duplicated lines. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. We need to not repeat job title as heading. So no heading "Plant Maintenance Mechanic II". We'll start with

    About the role

then prose summarizing overview? But we must preserve all substantive information; we cannot summarize away detail. However we can keep the overview paragraphs as prose under that heading. That's okay. We need to include details: Wieland description, cultural values, location, hourly pay range, work schedule, pay schedule, responsibilities list, qualifications list, physical demands (maybe under Qualifications or Requirements?), benefits list. We must not include cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So remove the equal opportunity statement at end. We must not include duplicated lines: there may be repeated sentences like "Ability to ..." repeated? We'll need to deduplicate. Let's extract content. Overview: "Wieland - Creating Value for Generations! Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. We provide a large product and service portfolio including power, automotive, ammunition, coinage, construction materials, refrigeration, electronics and many other industries. To us, metal is more than material. Wieland's Cultural Values Wieland’s culture is what makes for a fun and rewarding place to work! As a company, we benefit daily from our employees' knowledge and abilities. With our cultural vision, we place our core values at the heart of everything we do: safety, ambition, optimism, reliability, ownership, diversity, & respect." Then role description: "Wieland is hiring a Plant Maintenance Mechanic II . The Plant Maintenance Mechanic II is part of a team that is responsible for maintaining and managing the processing equipment that is utilized in recycling ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The Plant Maintenance Mechanic II uses extensive knowledge in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance practices to drive continuous improvement in machine reliability. Applies diagnostic, troubleshooting skills, and experience to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections on plant equipment . This role is located in Granite City, IL, and will be fully on-site. Hourly Pay Range: $28 - $32/per hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay Schedule: Weekly" Then "At Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, our ranges reflect our good-faith estimate to pay fairly. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include, but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc." Then Responsibilities heading: list bullet points. Then Qualifications heading: list bullet points. Then Physical Demands: paragraph. Then Benefits heading: list. Then EEO statement etc to remove. We need to ensure we don't include duplicated lines: The responsibilities list includes many items; we need to keep them but maybe some duplicates? Let's check. We need to format as
    • for each list item. We need to avoid duplication: In Qualifications, there is "Ability to effectively communicate effectively both orally and in writing to teammates and leader." We could keep as is; it's not duplicate within list but phrase repeats "effectively". It's okay. We need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like "Wieland is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer..." Remove. Also remove "Come join Wieland today and help us continue to build a global corporation we are all proud to belong to." That's boilerplate/application encouragement; remove. Now construct HTML. We'll start with

      About the role

      then

containing overview paragraphs (maybe two paragraphs). We need to preserve all substantive information; we can combine into one or multiple

. Probably better to split logically: first paragraph about Wieland overview, second about cultural values, third about role specifics (location, pay, schedule). But we must not invent headings; we can just use

      tags. Let's craft:
