Plant Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing technical service, working in partnership with the Unit Plant Manager and Quality Manager to improve quality and efficiency in glass container production.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive maintenance on equipment, scheduling repairs and upgrades.
• Work to maximize plant uptime.
• Afford corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure the safety and quality of work performed by maintenance and production personnel.
• Provide high-level technical service to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality.

Requirements

• Strong background in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in using CMMS systems.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to oversee, schedule, and train personnel.
• Leverage lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience/training.
• Ability to work at various heights in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Experience in a maintenance leadership position in manufacturing.
• Effective communication and people management skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 with a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 with a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.
