Plant Maintenance - Grounds Person

Job Summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Maintenance - Grounds Person based out of our Oldwick Quarry to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment in our East Region.

About You

• 2 - 5 Years experience preferred
• Experience with a Skid steer and other mid-Size Quarry Equipment
• Current MSHA Training a plus
• Prior experience working on Portable as well as Stationery crushing plants
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
• The ability to lift 25-50 lbs. on occasion
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• The ability to Operate Heavy Equipment Safely
• The ability to keep accurate daily record
• Knowledge of plant maintenance and construction materials
• Good Mental concentration and judgement
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions

While most areas have air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.

Compensation

$21.05 - $24.68 per hour
