Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead HR partner for plant leadership, influencing decision-making and driving organizational effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to develop and execute HR and talent strategies
- Act as a member of the site leadership team, contributing to business strategy and operational success
- Align HR initiatives with business goals to enhance performance and mitigate risk
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt, professional, and leadership roles
- Partner with leaders to define hiring needs and build strong talent pipelines
- Support employee development, training initiatives, and succession planning
- Manage complex employee relations matters including investigations, discipline, and terminations
- Administer leave programs, accommodations, and workers’ compensation claims
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend competitive programs
- Oversee HR metrics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
- Ensure effective HR systems, recordkeeping, and process optimization
- Promote a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture
- Coach and advise leaders on employee engagement and performance management
- Drive initiatives that enhance retention and employee experience
- Occasional travel (~5%) for site visits, training, and events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment strongly preferred
- Background in aerospace, defense, or similar industries a plus
- Licenses or certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
