Plant Health Care Technician (PHC)

About the role

You’ll work directly with trees and plants, diagnosing health concerns, applying treatments, and helping clients protect their landscapes—all while being mentored by experienced arborists in a values-driven, safety-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plant health issues and recommend appropriate treatments
• Apply treatments such as fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides
• Assist with pruning and shaping trees and shrubs
• Provide consultation and education to clients on proper plant care
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and client interactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with basic tree and plant care techniques
• Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Pass a background check
