Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for all plant assets
- Controls, tracks, and reports spending of the capital budget
- Responsible for the maintenance function
- Projects management for plant capital projects
- Hires and supervises all resources in the maintenance
- Analyzes and plans maintenance workforce utilization, predictive/preventative maintenance, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
- Provides technical advice on plant operations and improvements
- Prepares engineering analysis of projects including preliminary design, detailed design, project cost analysis, life cycle cost analysis, and equipment selection
- Leverages automation and controls to institutionalize consistencies in production
- Conducts, facilitates, and participates in PHA, PSSR, and HAZOP
- Manages and trains plant personnel in the use and execution of RCA/RCFA process
- Manages compliance of all PSM and fixed equipment inspections and repairs
Requirements
- B.S. ideally in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years plant maintenance, engineering, project engineering or industrial manufacturing experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated record of leadership, teamwork, adaptability, innovation, and initiative
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility and the company
- In-depth knowledge of machine safeties, OSHA, and LOTO
- Preferred experience in TPM, 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S
- Experience working with continuous and batch processes such as Paper, Tissue, Non-Woven, Coating, Engineered Wood/Panels, Printing, or Chemical processes
- Experience in PSM program implementation and maintenance
Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
