ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent PSM and Hanwha in business activities involving commercial operations, engineering assessment, and other engineering-related activities
- Evaluate new technologies and applicability in the marketplace and incorporate into the overall PSM strategy
- Cookordinate projects involving PSM’s functional groups and Hanwha Region/Product Lines as necessary
- Create specifications, procedures, requirements, and documentation for various projects
- Identify strategies and opportunities for continuous improvement and make productive and cost-effective and timely suggestions/solutions for change
- Coordinate and manage various site resources including site engineers, technicians, contract labor and 3rd party vendors
- Cookordinate with PSM and Hanwha for all applicable Shaft Line related mechanical or operational issues
- As needed, provide onsite management and leadership for outage execution of Shaft Line projects
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Training: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Skills/Experience: 10+ years of experience in power plant applications, maintenance, operations, field engineering, or service-related environments
- Relevant technical knowledge: HRSG, steam turbine, generator, and balance of plant systems
- Working knowledge: Typical design, maintenance, and operation of combined-cycle power plants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Willing to travel as required on an as-needed basis (typical travel is approximately 10%)
