Plant Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Director to lead our manufacturing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this highly visible leadership role, you will set the strategic direction for the site and lead plant operations with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, service, cost, and continuous improvement. The Cincinnati facility produces some of our most recognizable cracker brands, including Town House and Club Crackers. You will lead and develop a diverse manufacturing team, strengthen operational performance, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan annual and project-specific budgets, ensuring alignment with business strategic initiatives.
• Manage overall financial performance by reviewing and analyzing financial statements and data to monitor financial goals.
• Develop and implement effective cost containment and reduction strategies that result in demonstrated savings.
• Make strategic decisions considering immediate and long-term implications, benefits, costs, and risks.
• Identify and implement new ideas, technologies, or processes to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
• Monitor the execution of business plans to ensure successful completion of action plans.
• Set and communicate performance expectations and goals, and explain how these contribute to the overall strategy.
• Encourage and solicit employee feedback and suggestions.
• Promote and support workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Build diverse teams that work interdependently to achieve business objectives, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a comprehensive managerial and technical background in a plant environment.
• Experience with leading and applying lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations.
• Collaborative work style, ability to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance.
• Experience in a union environment.
• Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States (Kellanova does not sponsor employment visas for this role).

Pay

The annual salary range is $192,300 - $252,420, based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
