Plant Custodian

Position Summary

As the Plant Custodian, you will be responsible for the daily cleanliness of the facility, which includes the production and office areas. This is a Part-Time, Non-Benefits Eligible Position.

Essential Job Functions

• Follow all defined/implied safety policies, procedures, & applicable Job Safety Analyses.
• Be an active participant in the Plant’s efforts to achieve and maintain zero injuries & near misses.
• Adhere to the established Good Manufacturing & sanitation principles.
• Abside by the plant’s work rules policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation.
• Participate in & support in the Plant’s Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Perform all other custodial duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English and follow written instructions.
• Possess the skills to operate and proficiently use custodial tools.
• Ability to be Forklift Certified.
• Experience/Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, 3 years of custodial experience in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work inside and outside of manufacturing facility.
