Position Summary

The Plant Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support for daily manufacturing plant operations. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and job applicants while ensuring efficient office operations and supporting plant purchasing activities.

What To Expect

  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, contractors, and job applicants in a professional manner
  • Process purchase orders and assist with purchasing activities for plant materials and supplies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and invoices
  • Maintain purchasing records and support invoice reconciliation
  • Cooking room supplies and coordinate office organization
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and document management as needed
  • Support plant management with reports, correspondence, and scheduling as needed
  • Support safety, quality, and operational initiatives as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous administrative experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Previous purchasing or procurement experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to use standard office equipment regularly
