What You’ll Be Doing Responsible for leading Team Leaders & Associates in proactive safety, quality and TPS activities to achieve our key metrics of safety incidents, warranty & defect outflow and productivity.Expected to promote Toyota’s Core Values through their actions.Must take the lead to ensure Toyota’s policies and procedures are followed.Daily tasks include daily reports, production meetings, 4M change management & communication and overseeing the day-to-day activities in their responsible area all while promoting kaizen.Human development is an integral part of the Group Leader I’s position, they will be responsible for supporting the development of their Associates and Team Leaders within the area.Aid in the creation of succession plans and support strategic planning (hoshin) activity. What We’re Looking For 2 year Technical Degree preferred or High school diploma/GED with 5+ year’s relevant experience required3+ years of Leadership experience (or comparable experience) in a high production, fast paced manufacturing environment.Results driven, able to use visual management tools to identify problems and implement improvements.Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office) What Sets You Apart Ability to work in a safe and alert mannerEnsure all related tasks are completed accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain all necessary documentation related to quality and productivity within ManufacturingMust have positive and professional work ethic, respect for people, and be able to maintain company core valuesSafety, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction must be a main priorityEmbraces the Kaizen spirit of continuous improvement/changeAny additional duties as assigned Where And When You’ll Work This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.Travel: minimal travel (domestic and international) What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $70,000 - $85,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
