Supervises all Plans Examiners for the Bureau of Building Code
- Assists plans examination staff with problem resolution & delegates tasks.
- Establishes priorities, monitors duties & responsibilities of all Plans Examiners to ensure compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Administrative Code, & Ohio Building Code.
- Affords assistance to the Bureau Chief in developing policies & procedures to ensure conformance with rules & regulations of the BBS and the ORC.
Job Skills
- Certificate to practice architecture per Section 4703.06 of Revised Code or certificate of registration as professional engineer per Section 4733.02 of Revised Code
- 3 years of plan review experience for projects under provisions of Ohio Building Code (i.e., OBC)
