Planning Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, including Buyer/Planners and Purchasing personnel
• Manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory strategies
• Balance demand forecasts, production schedules, and material requirements
• Support production continuity by ensuring material availability
• Partner with manufacturing, customer service, and operations teams to resolve supply chain challenges
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels, and service metrics
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning and procurement processes
• Assist with forecasting, capacity planning, and risk mitigation activities
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to support planning and purchasing decisions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain, planning, purchasing, or procurement experience
• Manufacturing environment experience required
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• ERP/MRP experience required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with forecasting, inventory control, and supplier management
• Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent experience considered

Pay

The pay range for this position is $105,000.00 - $120,000.00/yr. A short-term incentive/bonus structure is also available, with multiple bonus tiers depending on role level and responsibility. The exact bonus level would be determined during offer discussions based on whether the candidate is hired closer to the Supervisor or Manager level.
