Planning Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight, coaching, and development of the planning team
• Cook up receiving, picking, loading, and dispatch activities within cold storage operations
• Ensure all customer orders are accurately entered, planned, and maintained in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Partner with warehouse leadership, shift leaders, and operators to optimize workflow and labor efficiency
• Work directly with customers and carriers to ensure delivery requirements, appointment adherence, and service commitments are met
• Manage service- and stock-related quality issues, including temperature deviations, damages, and inventory discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment
• Actively identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in planning and workflow processes

Additional duties

• Support site operations as required, including assisting with operational tasks during peak periods

Education requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• An associate's degree (AA) or equivalent combination of education and training preferred

Experience requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Cold storage, refrigerated, or food-grade warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
