Planning & Inventory Analyst
About the role
The Planning & Inventory Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving supply chain performance through demand planning, inventory management, procurement execution, and data-driven decision-making. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels, managing purchase orders, and ensuring product availability while balancing cost and service objectives.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams, the analyst provides actionable insights through reporting and analytics, supports S&OP processes, manages product lifecycle planning, and helps execute sourcing and replenishment strategies. The role also champions continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging planning systems and business intelligence tools to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory performance, operational efficiency, and overall business results.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; APICS/CPIM or other supply chain certifications are a plus
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain analytics, or related supply chain functions
- Experience within consumer goods, apparel, footwear, sporting goods, or seasonal product environments preferred; knowledge of apparel seasonality is a plus
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, procurement processes, MRP/ERP systems, and end-to-end supply chain operations
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Infor M3, or similar systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated analytical expertise with the ability to leverage data and reporting tools; experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Pay
Pay Range: $73,499.00-$91,795.00
