Planning Coordinator
This role is a temporary position (vikariat) with strong possibilities for extension.
About the role
As Planning Coordinator, you will join our supply team, focusing on our own production units in Latvia and incoming components such as fabrics and trims. The role combines operational planning with clear responsibility for data quality and system maintenance. You will ensure that our fabric and accessory suppliers have the right conditions to deliver on time and in the correct volume when actual orders arrive.
You will work closely with the Supply Planning Manager Fabrics & Trims and be responsible for the monthly forecasting of fabrics and trims for our owned production units, monitoring inventory levels at our fabric suppliers in Asia, and ensuring that our planning parameters in Slim4 are always up-to-date and accurate for our fabrics and trims.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analysis, system work, and supplier communication, and who wants to help build and improve our processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly forecasting of fabrics and trims for our owned factories.
- Ensure that fabric and accessory needs are correctly communicated to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor greige levels at fabric suppliers and act proactively in case of risks for delays or shortages.
- Maintain and quality-assure master data in our systems, such as article data, supplier data, and planning parameters for fabrics and incoming accessories.
- Perform inventory situation and shortage analysis as a basis for decisions on replenishment of fabrics and trims.
- Build and maintain daily communication with the planning team in our own factories, fabric suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate phase-in and phase-out of fabrics and accessories.
- Document and continuously improve planning processes, routines, and working methods.
Requirements
- Experience in production planning, purchasing, or similar operational planning work.
- Good system skills; experience with Slim4, Relex, SAP, or similar planning tools is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with numerical data.
- Structured and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple parallel workflows.
- Communicative and collaborative, comfortable with international supplier contact.
Qualifications
- Meticulous, analytical, and comfortable working with systems and data.
- A natural drive to maintain order, follow up on deviations, and contribute to smooth processes.
- Interest in clothing and textile production.
- Knowledge of textile production and fabric delivery flows is a plus but not required.
