About the role
The Planning Consultant offers world-class planning experiences and strengthens client relationships through asset consolidation, referrals, and plan implementation. The role develops an engagement strategy tailored to each client's planning needs, ensuring integrity and adherence to Fidelity's client commitment standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct joint client appointments and deliver personalized financial consultations through Fidelity’s offerings.
- Develop and maintain an organized client contact strategy.
- Engage business partners and utilize tools like Salesforce.
- Create and maintain long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients.
- Mentor and support fellow associates to foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, or able to obtain Series 66 upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years of financial services or relevant experience.
- Attainment of CFP® Certification is highly encouraged.
- Exceptional understanding of financial planning concepts to assist clients in building effective financial plans.
- Proficiency in profiling to understand planning needs and identifying appropriate solutions.
- A vested interest in building relationships and advocating for clients.
- Motivation towards success, willingness to demonstrate ownership, and commitment to achieving meaningful goals.
- Comfortable making outbound calls to educate clients and uncover opportunities.
