About the role

Through your integrity and adherence to Fidelity’s client commitment standards, we know you will inspire client dedication with a goal of developing lifetime relationships with Fidelity. As a Planning Consultant, you will provide a world-class planning experience, uncover opportunities to deepen client relationships through consolidation of assets, referrals, and plan implementations, and develop an engagement strategy that supports each client’s unique planning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct joint appointments with clients, focused on consultations through Fidelity’s guidance offering
  • Education and planning with clients to uncover opportunities that will lead to the client’s success
  • Create and maintain an organized client contact strategy, including engaging business partners and using tools such as Salesforce
  • Build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients
  • Mentor and support the success of your peers

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, OR ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire
  • Minimum 2 years of financial services or relevant experience
  • Attainment of CFP® Certification is highly encouraged

  • Remarkable understanding of financial planning concepts to help clients build effective financial plans for them and their families
  • Ability to profile to understand planning needs and identify appropriate solutions
  • Vested interest in building relationships and being an advocate for clients
  • Motivated toward success, willing to demonstrate ownership, and committed to achieving meaningful goals
  • Comfort making outbound calls to further educate clients and uncover opportunities

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $66,000-125,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Schedule

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
