About the role
The Town of Ashland is seeking applicants to fill an upcoming vacancy on the Planning Commission. This seat would serve a 4-year term commencing July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2030.
The Planning Commission serves as an advisory board to Town Council by reviewing and providing recommendations on town land use issues. The Planning Commission reviews and provides recommendations on rezoning, conditional use permit, subdivision applications, the Town's Capital Improvements Program, and is responsible for preparing the Town's Comprehensive Plan.
