Planning and Advice Associate - Greenwood Village, CO
As a Planning and Advice Associate, you serve as a trusted partner for our workplace and personal investment customers. You will engage in inbound and outbound conversations, provide guidance on retirement and/or investment needs, and help clients navigate Fidelity’s products, services, and planning tools. You will develop relationship-building, planning, and service-to-sales skills through a structured development path with comprehensive training and licensing support.
Responsibilities
- Start your journey in our multi-stage development program to build a career in planning and advice by engaging with 401(k) workplace participants and/or personal investment clients through planning and advice conversations.
- Guide clients using Fidelity’s planning tools, research, and investment solutions.
- Handle inbound service and consultative calls; conduct outbound outreach through warm opportunities and/or appointments.
- Introduce customers to appropriate business partners and set targeted planning appointments to help people create their path to financial well-being.
- Discuss market trends, investment concepts, and financial planning strategies.
- Manage and prioritize your day using Salesforce and internal systems.
Requirements
- Strong client relationship and consultative experience.
- Experience with inbound/outbound warm leads and customer engagement.
- Interest or knowledge in financial services and retirement planning.
- Strong communication, technology, and time-management skills.
- Ability and flexibility to work in a “hybrid” work setting, both at home and in office.
- Aptitude to complete FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 upon hire.
Licensing & Development

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $47,500 - $50,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package; the offer may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
Schedule
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
