Planner Production Control

About the role

Production Control drives construction through work paper and material and works hand in hand with Operations to complete submarine construction. Multiple positions are available in support of CLB Production Control.

Responsibilities

• Perform Production Control functions including Work Order management, software and hardware expediting in support of Work Order schedules, change processing, and work completion close-out
• Interface with Operations, Engineering, Design, Material Systems, Configuration Management, Quality and other support organizations at various levels of management
• Manage successful scheduling, manufacturing, construction and delivery of complex components within a scheduled time frame
• Adjust priorities daily as needed
• Maintain awareness of and compliance with Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule and Process Improvement as they apply to the position

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in Trade, Military, Planning/Production Control Role, Inventory Management, Operations Management, Material Control or similar

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade Expertise: Strong background in Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, or ISM/OSM disciplines
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with ARTEMIS, MRPII, TeamCenter, EWP/PCM, and/or advanced Excel (Pivot Tables)
• Blueprint Expert: Ability to read and interpret complex shipboard blueprints with precision
• Communicator: Ability to translate technical data into clear updates for both leadership and the crew

Schedule

This is an onsite position Monday - Friday with openings for both 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm).
