We Are Seeking Qualified Applicants For The Position Planner, Planning and Scheduling Located Plaquemines Summary The Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedules for our capital projects. This new position will be based at our Plaquemines LNG Facility and report to the Director, Planning & Scheduling. This position will collaborate with Company leadership and project management to develop detailed project schedules that align to project execution plans and Company objectives. The role will also require effective communication to Project Management for timely decision making and incorporation of stakeholder input. The role will be based at our facility in the New Orleans, LA area, with potential for travel to other project locations and contractor offices. General Description Duties & Responsibilities Implementation of planning & scheduling processes and proceduresDevelopment and maintenance of internal Company plans & schedulesOversight of Contractor schedule development and maintenanceIntegration of Contractor schedules with Company schedulesSet up and maintain reporting and dashboard templates for consistent and timely communicationAssuring integrity and accuracy of Contractor forecastingCollaborate with cross-functional disciplines to align schedules with plan objectives and targetsParticipate in critical path and risk identification reviewsPresent and effectively communicate plan & schedule information internally and externallyDevelop and maintain graphical summary depictions of execution planAssist project leadership with analytical insight to support timely decision-makingEmploy forensic schedule analysis to support Time Impact or other commercial claims analysisOther responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred8+ years of relevant planning & scheduling and project controls experience in major Oil & Gas engineering and construction projectsExpert proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6Knowledge and application of Best Scheduling PracticesStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsExperience with Power BI preferredExcellent interpersonal and communications skills, with strong critical thinking and attention to detailStrong work ethic with ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and business needs, and succeed in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
