Planner - New Product Development

Responsibilities

  • Manage material requirements and build schedules for new product development.
  • Ensure material readiness aligns with engineering and program schedules.
  • Adjust schedules based on supplier constraints, capacity limitations, and engineering changes.
  • Identify and resolve material availability risks that could impact build schedules.
  • Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions.
  • Expedite materials as needed, coordinating with Procurement, Suppliers, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
  • Ensure build kits and system shipments are complete, accurate, and on schedule.
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage intercompany purchase orders and improve material planning processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • NPI experience REQUIRED.
    • 5+ years of planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s).
    • Strong working knowledge of MRP, material planning, and supply chain concepts.
    • Experience with SAP preferred.
    • Experience supporting prototype, pilot, or low-volume/high-complexity builds.
    • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
    • APICS/ASCM certification is a plus.
    • Experience in New Product Development or NPI environments.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
