Planner - New Product Development
Responsibilities
- Manage material requirements and build schedules for new product development.
- Ensure material readiness aligns with engineering and program schedules.
- Adjust schedules based on supplier constraints, capacity limitations, and engineering changes.
- Identify and resolve material availability risks that could impact build schedules.
- Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions.
- Expedite materials as needed, coordinating with Procurement, Suppliers, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
- Ensure build kits and system shipments are complete, accurate, and on schedule.
- Partner cross-functionally to manage intercompany purchase orders and improve material planning processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- NPI experience REQUIRED.
- 5+ years of planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s).
- Strong working knowledge of MRP, material planning, and supply chain concepts.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Experience supporting prototype, pilot, or low-volume/high-complexity builds.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- APICS/ASCM certification is a plus.
- Experience in New Product Development or NPI environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role is based onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Once fully trained, there is potential to transition to a hybrid role.
