BASIC FUNCTION

Schedule manufacturing operation to ensure availability of items under planners control with minimum negative impact on manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages the development, modification, and implementation of production schedule.
• Develops and modifies production schedule and coordinates all related support activities through the manufacturing, testing and approval process.
• Lead the daily Production meeting.
• Identify risks to on time delivery, drive countermeasures, and communicate/escalate risks and countermeasures to leadership.
• Resolves conflicting priorities and manufacturing problems that may impact timely product delivery to our customers.
• Develop, communicate, and measure performance of firm manufacturing schedule.
• Work with Production to assign resources by day, by shift.
• Makes sure production activities are monitored, recorded, and reported on.
• Leads root cause analysis of wins and losses.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement of QCDISME.
• Provides analysis to identify constraints and support long-term capacity planning.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Occasionally walks, sits, uses hands and arms, reaches, stoops, talks, hears.
• Specific vision requirements for computer monitors include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
• Exposure to weather conditions, heat/cold, noise, and manual labor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 4-year degree.
• 2-5 years related experience.
