Key Responsibilities
- Provides confidential, personalized verbal and written investment and retirement education and financial planning consulting to plan participants (active and retired/separated).
- Conducts on-site standardized presentations for employees of member organizations for groups of 10 – 100 people.
- Presents may be from 1 hour to 1.5 days to include other speakers.
- Responds to requests generated through other planners, seminars and member contact services over the phone and by email.
- Affirms the need for and refers appropriate participants to PIRC services for written asset allocation and retirement plans.
- Reviews such plans with participants upon completion.
- Builds and maintains an extensive knowledge base on a broad range of financial planning and pension topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the arts, sciences or business required.
- Required to possess a professional designation such as CFP®, CEBS®, ChFC®, CLU, CRPC®, or RICP® or maintain a Series 6, 7, 63, 65 or 66 license and obtain a professional designation within two years.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business, finance, accounting, securities, insurance or pension plans consulting individuals on financial planning issues.
- A background in servicing clients as a financial planner or relationship manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience providing written financial planning services.

Salary Range
Salary Range: $106,000–$129,000 annual salary Final compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
