Planner II

Role Responsibilities

Develops and executes procurement strategies to optimize vendor performance and cost-efficiency.

Leads supplier negotiations, manages high-value contracts, and ensures supplier compliance with long-term goals.

Oversees advanced planning functions, including long-term demand forecasting and capacity planning.

Leads planning for smaller sites and integrates their requirements into overall supply chain objectives.

Drives continuous improvement initiatives and mentors junior team members.

Works to achieve program, functional, and/or business targets within team with direct impact on departmental results.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of Planning and scheduling experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle
• Experience in lean manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills and strong sense of teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively

On-site schedule at our Chillicothe, MO facility.
