PLANNER I: MOBILITY AND GREENWAYS

Essential Functions

• Affords support in communications and engagement, while assisting with tracking projects, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Supports meetings with community members, committees, and project teams.
• Communicates transportation-related guidelines, decisions, and priorities with community members and other stakeholders by phone, email, and in-person.
• Affords support in implementing various mobility projects and initiatives according to departmental work plan.
• Executes specific tasks as part of a project team.
• Assists in developing and managing effective and inclusive public processes and stakeholder meetings.
• Affords support in long-range planning efforts related to updating the Chapel Hill Comprehensive Plan and other related plans.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table, with intermittent standing or stooping.
• The employee uses equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.

Safety Considerations

• Valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation.
