About the role

This is a 3-year contract with a potential for extension. This is a hybrid position - 3 days a week in office.

Responsibilities

  • Absolutely ensures Purchase Orders are issued for all field work in progress or planned.
  • Absolutely ensures all Preventative Maintenance (PM) work is scheduled and completed on time.
  • Absolutely ensures follow up and backlog management of all PMs and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work by priority and site.
  • Aligns and coordinates work tasks (where applicable) to minimize contractor mobilization charges and re-work.
  • Absolutely ensures monthly accruals are processed for the Midwest CCP region in accordance with Finance requirements.
  • Develops and distributes weekly schedule for the Midwest CCP site activities using ARO Routine or O&M accounting.
  • Supports CCP Project Teams in developing and completing PMs/CMs assigned to those teams.
  • Leads Bid events for minor or large PO’s / service agreements for CCP LHP, Routine Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance as applicable.
  • Develops and maintains work plans that facilitate work execution, ensuring materials and resources are available.
  • Facilitates process improvements to make work plans safer, more productive and cost competitive, communicating regularly with Supervisors and Equipment Experts/Owners.
  • Coordinates/Communicates during the preparation and execution phase of work, monitors/tracks progress of activities, prepares reports, and ensures lessons learned are captured, evaluated and incorporated in support of continuous improvement.
  • Directs, coordinates, and reviews activities of internal staff or contractors to ensure safe, accurate, and timely completion of tasks, projects, or duties.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of power plant operation and the Work Management process.
  • Working knowledge of company computer systems/programs that are utilized in the Work Management process.
  • Basic scheduling tool knowledge.
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills.
  • Demonstrated effective skills in problem solving.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to effectively work with all BU/company groups.
  • Basic ability to lead effective/efficient meetings.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of plant operations, maintenance, and/or work management experience.
  • Financial and accounting knowledge and skills including ability to analyze data.
  • 2 years of experience in contract management.
  • 2 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficient in Maximo or computer-based Maintenance Management Systems.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of power plant operation and the Work Management process.
  • Working knowledge of company computer systems/programs that are utilized in the Work Management process.
  • Basic scheduling tool knowledge.
  • Financial and accounting knowledge and skills including ability to analyze data.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Maximo or computer-based Maintenance Management Systems proficiency.

Pay

$31.00 - $36.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits.

Schedule

Hybrid - 3 days / week in office.
